<fs xx-large>Digital Rights Management</fs> or DRM for short are access control technologies that limit the usage of digital content and devices.(([[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DRM|Disambiguation page for DRM on Wikipedia]])). Now, DRM is varied field of technologies, but I am mostly concerned with the license verification of [[Video Game|video games]]. This involves the use of a connection to a central [[server]] to verify the legiticamy of the verification and the installation files. The best known come in different flavors and go as such, in increasing aggressiveness:
