 Of course, when someone reads my pages, I do hope that they learn something. I hope it is //useful// to the reader. But when I say this, I don't mean that it is meant to be useful in the way that they are convinced of what I claim. I have nothing substantial to offer and even if I did, it has already been covered by people much smarter than me. No, what I have is //perspective//. I can look at things from my own, very unique perspective and that helps me understanding things, but it might also help others see things from a different perspective as well. Not to convince them, but to make them just that little bit more "aware". Broaden their understanding.
+I put in a conscious effort to use the word "page" to refer to content on this domain, in the same way I don't like using the word "wiki". Now while I think I //have// used the word wiki to refer to the format of this website, I really try to not even touch the word article. If you spot it, please [[:contact|contact]] me so I can correct it.
