 +This list of traits is basically a copy from [[Crusader Kings 3]]'s [[https://ck3.paradoxwikis.com/Traits|list of personality traits]], as it gave me a useful framework through which to analyze personality traits. This is why that list contains a variety of traits that you wouldn't use anymore these days and which I too will probably never use.

 +==== Intimidating ====
 +{{page>Templates:Profiles:Intimidating}}\\
 +This is purely for informational purposes and has nothing to do with the person's personality. Or, not inherently, anyway. While they may have a personality that naturally makes me uneasy, I use this flag to mark people who I'm generally uncomfortable around for any kind of reason. Typically it is because it is a person that I don't know and where I am worried that I could leave a negative impression of me. Most people I don't really care too much about whether their impression of me is positive or very positive, but with some people I feel like it matters, and - because my impression on others is largely out of my control (all I can do is being honest to god and not hurt people) - that makes me uncomfortable.

 The general cat assumption is that you are living an independent life with no major committments on either side. And, the cat wants it to stay that way. Y'all can spend time if both sides want it, but the cat doesn't want to be bothered into spending time (The cat still loves you. Maybe.). The general cat assumption is that you are living an independent life with no major committments on either side. And, the cat wants it to stay that way. -==== Painless ====
-{{page>Templates:Profiles:Painless}}\\
-Painless is a special stupidity condition in which an individual is so devoid of agency and basic, human functioning as to make it impossible for them to engage in (self-)analysis. The most fundamental human guidance system is our pain, which alerts us to something being wrong. If one is painless, they do not ever get this feedback, fail to see that something is wrong and have no impetus to make lasting changes to their behavior. Actual, physical pain might be the only last thing still reaching their brain.
-
-Until then, this character is unbothered by the negative consequences of their actions, both for others as well as themselves. They will continue to engage in behaviors that would lead to pain; not because it's useful to do, but because it was the first thing some unreflected part of their brain came up with and - without pain - there was never any incentive to change it.
