This part of Ramblings is my system of making sense of other people by forcing myself to think about and categorize the people around me. All of this is done anonymously to avoid drama, but the actual knowledge and thoughts behind them may be public domain so that individuals may access this information when necessary. Anyone can see anything, and if you happen to know your own ID you can see at a glance exactly what I am thinking about you without even needing to ask. I see no reason for hiding any of this, and if I don't like someone I would tell them that equally as openly as I would tell someone that I do like them. This collection is basically my attempt at being the total opposite of being polite.
This website uses code point identifiers, as stand-ins for names, to point at profiles. For example, the identifier for myself is 0x0000000 and is what I use in memory to refer to myself. Every profile is headed by an identifier, which resolves to an individual, which resolves to a name. You can always request your own identifier.
What I am promising myself from this is that this encourages honest and open conversation. By not hiding things, not being polite, not avoiding the things that would be difficult to talk about, I hope to encourage a conversation about these things to hopefully resolve them. At the same time, for those who do not care or do not want to have these kinds of conversations, they are not forced in any way and will probably never see these pages in the first place. Additionally, by doing this I also hope to generate a level of trustworthiness. By building up a track record of honesty, I hope that individuals find it easier to trust me when I tell them that I really do like them (for example).
I believe that, between two humans, honesty is the most valuable resource. This is why I make all this data publicly accessible. I might really hate a person, but I won't hide that from them or try to be nice for social harmony. My goal is to get problems resolved and foster interactions based on mutual understanding and true feelings, not politeness.
For this reason: Any person in my life has, at any point in time, the right to request their profile from me.
This profile includes not only their identifier and assigned personality traits, but also general status information, additional data including Permissions and Policies and a detailed incident log with every non-standard thing that has recently happened. This profile contains everything you need to know about how I actually feel about you, so that you can make informed decisions in the future.
The right to request this kind of extended profile is part of the basic.* permission and applies to every human being on earth. You are encouraged to make use of it, especially if you have a problem with me/I have a problem with you.
To make this request, use the contact form, state who you are, what your request is and how to contact you. Note that I only give out identifiers or profiles to the individual that identifier/profile belongs to, ie. you cannot request an identifier for someone who isn't you. Make sure that your contact information matches with who you claim to be.
