• Person calling must specificy duration of break, otherwise until the caller manually declares the end of red flag
• Session resumes after break ends
• Both parties should be using that time to reassess and recollect themselves
• Specifically value neutral, does not assign fault
• Conversation to proceed with Emotions Check and peaceful discussion of the incident
