When I introduce myself, I prefer to say that I'm “from Europe” instead of “from Germany”. This blog post goes into why I prefer to do it that way.

Grocery store discount strategies and why we really just get mad at ourselves
An incident at the grocery store made me think about why we get frustrated, and I realized that we, in most cases, really just get frustrated at ourselves. Since the incident involved another customer getting frustrated at themselves “App Discounts” I also used the opportunity to go into detail about why they are used.

Revamping First Strike - Why Stellar Commanders is the better First Strike
My ideas for a rework of Blindflug's game First Strike had a surprising amount of overlap with many of the design ideas Blindflug implemented into their First Strike sequel Stellar Commanders. It turns out they identified the same design problems in First Strike that I identified, and they had similar ideas on how to fix them.
